Exoset universal vertical safety lifting clamps
SpanSet, market leader in webbing-based products, once again confirms its innovative strength with the introduction of a range of universal vertical safety lifting clamps.
The Exoset lifting clamps have been improved in many respects compared to the clamps currently available. During development, two main goals were central: improving safety in the workplace and improving the operation of the clamps.
Improved safety
We added a maximum working load limit (WLL) indicator, clearly visible in both the lifting eye and the handle. This indicator makes it easy for the user to see the maximum weight the clamp may be used for.
In addition, we improved safety with a special coating on the cam segment and the pivot point. The coating acts as a wear indicator: when 50% of the coating has worn off, the parts must be replaced. Both innovations increase safety in the workplace.
Easier to operate
The handle was developed to give the user a better grip on the clamp while attaching it to the plate. The locking mechanism has been improved and enlarged for easier opening and closing.
We engineered a very robust and lightweight range of clamps. This was made possible by welding the bodies and using high-grade Naxtra steel.
Vertical plate transport — universal
- Suitable for lifting, turning (180°), moving and vertically transporting sheet metal, panels and constructions.
- Plates can be turned from horizontal to vertical and back to horizontal (180°) as required.
- Fitted with a lock for both the open and the closed position, guaranteeing full safety.
- Thanks to the hinged lifting eye, the clamp can position and lift the load from any direction, or with a multi-leg lifting sling, without loading the clamp sideways.
Exoset lifting eye shaft
The lifting eye shaft of the Exoset has two flat sides. This design distributes friction better and prevents denting of the body.
It spreads the forces more evenly, reduces wear and extends the service life of the Exoset lifting clamp.
